Description
These honey roasted cashews are crunchy, sweet, and incredibly easy to make. Perfect for snacking or gifting, this simple recipe will become a staple in your kitchen.
Ingredients
2 cups raw cashews
2 tablespoons honey
1 tablespoon unsalted butter (or coconut oil for a dairy-free version)
1/4 teaspoon salt (optional)
1/4 teaspoon cinnamon (for a warm, cozy touch)
Instructions
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and allow it to fully heat.
Prepare the cashews by spreading them on a parchment-lined baking sheet to prevent sticking.
Melt the butter in a small saucepan over low heat. Stir in the honey, salt, and cinnamon until smooth.
Coat the cashews by pouring the warm honey mixture over them and tossing well.
Roast in the oven for 10-15 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes to prevent burning.
Cool completely before enjoying; they will crisp up as they sit.
Notes
Add a pinch of cayenne pepper for a sweet-spicy kick.
Mix in almonds or pecans for variety.
Perfect for gifting in a jar with a ribbon!
