Description

This Honey Garlic Glazed Salmon is the perfect balance of sweet, savory, and a little heat, all wrapped up in a 30-minute meal. A rich, flavorful glaze coats tender, flaky salmon, making it an easy yet impressive dish for weeknights or special occasions.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 (4-ounce) salmon fillets
  • Salt and ground black pepper, to taste
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 2 teaspoons sriracha sauce
  • 2 teaspoons soy sauce
  • 1 large clove garlic, minced

Instructions

  • Season the Salmon: Sprinkle salt and pepper over both sides of the salmon fillets.
  • Cook the Salmon: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add the salmon and cook for 5-6 minutes per side until the flesh flakes easily with a fork.
  • Prepare the Glaze: In a small pot over medium heat, combine honey, water, brown sugar, sriracha, soy sauce, and minced garlic. Bring to a boil, stirring frequently, and let it cook for 5-7 minutes until thickened.
  • Glaze the Salmon: Pour the glaze over the cooked salmon in the skillet. Let it simmer for 1-2 minutes to absorb the flavors.
  • Serve: Transfer the salmon to a plate, drizzle with extra glaze, and serve with your choice of sides like steamed vegetables, rice, or a fresh salad.

Notes

  • Avoid overcooking the salmon—check for flakiness with a fork.
  • Adjust the heat level by reducing or omitting sriracha.
  • Prepare the glaze ahead of time and store it in the fridge for a quick meal prep
