Ingredients
Scale
- 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts, cut into 1-inch cubes
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/4 tsp paprika
- 4 tbsp butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional, for garnish)
Instructions
- Prepare the Chicken: Cut the chicken breasts into 1-inch cubes for even cooking.
- Season the Chicken: In a bowl, mix flour, salt, pepper, and paprika. Coat the chicken cubes in this mixture.
- Sear the Chicken: Melt 2 tbsp butter in a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the chicken and cook for 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- Make the Garlic Butter Sauce: In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tbsp butter. Add garlic and cook for about 30 seconds, until fragrant.
- Simmer the Sauce: Pour in chicken broth and let it simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Combine Chicken and Sauce: Return the cooked chicken to the skillet, tossing to coat in the sauce. Simmer for 1-2 minutes.
- Serve and Garnish: Serve immediately, garnished with fresh parsley. Enjoy with rice, pasta, or a salad.
Notes
- For extra heat, add red pepper flakes to the flour mixture.
- Add a squeeze of lemon juice and fresh herbs like thyme for a fresh twist.
- To make it creamy, stir in 1/4 cup heavy cream or cream cheese to the sauce.
- Store leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days.
